Our karate school was founded in September 2010 and  we are currently organising courses in various locations around the Oulu regoion. Our karate training is suitable for everyone, regardless of participant’s previous experience, age or other factors. In addition to karate, we organize other activities together, for example hiking and skiing trips. Also, our classes are held in English when needed.

Bushido Spring Camp 25th-26th of May

The annual Bushido Spring Camp is coming again. All our students (juniors, adults, new and old) are welcome to join. Belt tests are held at the end of the camp.

Fees:
  • Free admission to the camp for all students of the Bushido Karate School.
  • Other payments paid in cash:
    • Color belts 12€/each, stripes 5€/each
    • Belt test fee (doesn't include basic courses) 10€ for juniors, 20€ for adults
    • Belt stripes for juniors' basic course 5€/each
Other:
  • Please  arrive at the site at least 15 minutes before the beginning of your session.
  • Our own teachers instruct the camp
  • Attending the tests requires attending to the whole camp. Advanced coursers are informed of their admission to the test after Saturday's pre belt test.
  • Every basic courser is admissioned to the test automatically.
  • Training continues  after the camp  with the (soon to be released) summer schedule and then in fall's advanced courses
  • Taking some snacks with you is recommended, bulk those carbs!
  • There will be special action for the juniors during breaks
  • No need for enrollment.

Leiri on tarkoitettu kaikille Bushido Karatekoulun oppilaille, niin peruskurssilaisille kuin jatkokurssilaisillekin. Leirin päätteeksi pidetään vyökokeet.

Maksut:

  • Leiri on maksuton kaikille Bushido Karatekoulun harrastajille
  • Kaikki muut maksut hoidetaan leiripaikalla käteisellä
    • Värivyöt 12 eur kpl ja natsat 5 eur kpl
    • Vyökoemaksu (ei koske peruskursseja) junnuilta 10 eur ja aikuisilta 20 eur 
    • Natsat junnujen peruskurssilaisille 5 eur kpl

Muuta:

  • Saavu paikalle vähintään 15 min. ennen omien treenien alkamista.
  • Leirin ohjaajina toimivat koulumme omat ohjaajat.
  • Vyökokeiseen osallistuminen edellyttää osallistumista koko leirille, jatkokurssilaisten osalta vyökokeisiin pääsystä ilmoitetaan lauantain harjoitusvyökokeen jälkeen.
  • Kaikki peruskurssilaiset pääsevät automaattisesti vyökokeeseen.
  • Vyökokeen jälkeen harjoittelu jatkuu kesätreeneissä ja ensi syksynä jatkoryhmissä.
  • Omat eväitä kannattaa ottaa mukaan.
  • Junnuille järjestetään yhteistä ohjelmaa taukojen aikana.
  • Leirille ei tarvitse erikseen ilmoittautua

Bushido Karate Camp with Sensei Jürgen Mosler / May 11th

Sensei Jürgen Mosler (4th dan, Berlin) is coming to hold a one day karate camp here in Oulu, invited by Bushido Karate School. The camp is targeted for all our members including the beginners' coursers, adults and juniors. Also members of other karate clubs are very welcome to participate!

Hyvää Joulua!

Hyvät Bushido Karatekoulun jäsenet,

Tiukkatahtinen harjoittelukausi on taas takanapäin. Monien ajatukset siintävät jo varmasti tulevissa joulun pyhissä. Poikkeuksellisesti jo marraskuun puolella pidetyissä vyökokeissa taidettiin nähdä seuran historian suurin osanottajamäärä, mikä omalta osaltaan kertoo siitä, että olemme oikealla tiellä.

Kun tarkastelen mennyttä syyskautta, voin vain ihastella, mihin seuramme suhteellisen kevyt organisaatio on pystynyt. Haluankin esittää lämpimät kiitokseni sekä kouluttajille että muille vastuuhenkilöille. Kiitos! Ilman teitä tämä ei olisi ollut mahdollista.

Vuodenvaihteen jälkeen alkaa kevätkausi ja uudet haasteet ovat edessä. Siksipä onkin paikallaan hiljentyä toviksi viettämään joulua läheisten ihmisten kera.
